Meet our guest professor Carey Curtis

Our Guest Professor 2018-2019 is Carey Curtis from Curtin University, Australia. She recently spent a spring month at K2.

- The crucical mass of researchers in my field is just way too exciting. “You speak my language”, I said when I came here, partly funny but absolutely serious. You don’t have to start with the context, you can get straight in there and have a much more stronger conversation in depth, says Carey Curtis, Guest Professor K2 and Professor of City Planning and Transport, Curtin University.

When Carey Curtis will return again to K2 is not yet decided. She continues to participate in research projects at a distance and collaborate with researchers at K2.

- I'm sad to be going really. I wonder how or if I can create a K2 in Australia. Here is a real contribution to the world outside, which I feel very strongly about.
