Presentation

Fredrik is associate professor, reader in Technology and Society, at Transport and Roads, Lund university. Fredrik is interested in the dynamics between different levels of decision-making and different organizations and actors in the transition to a more sustainable transport system. Many of the K2-projects that Fredrik has been involved in have focused on collaboration between stakeholders in various processes, such as planning new infrastructure and new systems (e.g. on-demand public transport, BRT-systems, electric buses), and the integration of public transport with urban- and regional land-use planning. A key focus in coming years will be on how to increase the understanding of how to deal with conflicts between different interests and between different stakeholders when working with implementing proximity-based planning concepts, such as the 15 minute city.
