SASUF – Mobility collaboration project

Welcome to the SASUF Sustainable and Safe Mobility project site

- Site under construction -

Within SASUF – South Africa – Sweden University Forum we are aiming to provide mobility researchers focusing on sustainability and safety a platform for further collaboration. The project is part of Theme 5: Sustainable urbanization, travel and tourism in the 21st Century

We are currently aggregating, analyzing and mapping relevant transport and mobility research centers, researchers and research themes at South Africa and Swedish universities. If you feel your research fits in this project do not hesitate to contact the project leader Associate Professor Johan Jansson or the others involved in the project (see below).

Research Leaders and Project Managers

Work related to the Sustainable Development Goals
Mobility helps enhance urban and rural life and accessibility—the ability to access and take advantage of city amenities and economic opportunities. Making cities sustainable is one of the key aspirations reflected in several Goals of United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. This project is mainly connected to the following SDGs: 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, 10: Reducing Inequality, 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and, 13: Climate Action.
