AutoSam – system innovation for future collective mobility
AutoSam is a project within Vinnova’s Accelera FFI programme, aiming to develop system solutions for autonomous and shared public transport in Sweden. The project is led by Zeto AB together with Karolina Pamp AB and K2, in close collaboration with the think tank Rådslaget and regional public transport authorities (RKM).
The goal is to create a sustainable and accessible transport system that strengthens mobility in both cities and rural areas. AutoSam explores opportunities for system demonstrations to harness the potential of emerging technology, and investigates how it can be integrated in ways that contribute to improved traffic safety, better connections between urban and rural areas, and more resource-efficient collective travel.
The project explores how autonomous vehicles can be integrated into existing transport systems in ways that benefit both travelers and society – with a focus on collaboration between public authorities, research, and industry.
