Michael Johansson holds a PhD in Engineering and is a Researcher at the Department of Service Studies, Lund University. His research focuses on how people use and experience mobility in their everyday lives and how mobility services can contribute to a more sustainable and inclusive society. He is particularly interested in innovation within public transport, shared mobility, and mobility hubs, as well as the interplay between mobility, housing development, and urban planning. By combining perspectives from service research and sustainability studies, he examines how new mobility solutions can create value for both individuals and society. Through a service and user-centred perspective, he also investigates how mobility and parking services can be designed to enhance accessibility, promote social sustainability, and reduce environmental impacts.
