The role and purpose of public transport in the daily life of the traveler - today and in the future

The role and purpose of public transport in the daily life of the traveler - today and in the future

The purpose of the project is to study the traveller and their experiences and perspectives, depending on the situation and context. Methodically, the project is carried out in case studies in three different locations, with prerequisites for good public transport, walking and cycling traffic. In addition there are or are planned accommodation and a large number of activities and service functions in connection with the station areas. The locations are both alike and different, and are in different stages of development: Triangeln in Malmö is largely completed, Odenplan in Stockholm is partially completed, and in Södra Uddevalla, the work on densification and new sustainable traffic solutions will begin during the project.
