Benjamin Cottreau holds a PhD in Economics and is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Mathematics and the Transport Planning Division at KTH. Here, he works on causal modelling to capture changes in mobility behaviour due to new policy interventions and better control mobility demand under these circumstances. More generally, he also has an interest in econometrics and explainable machine learning models to predict and control mobility demand consequent to planned (eg. policy interventions) or unplanned (eg. service disruptions) events.
