Natalie is a spatial sustainability researcher focusing on how cities can use policy to drive urban transformations using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods. She is currently a PhD at the IIIEE, Lund University, where her research evaluates transformative urban policy instruments, with a particular focus on innovative green public procurement and sustainable transport infrastructure.

Before starting her PhD, Natalie worked for five years as a Transport Planner at an international engineering firm, where she designed, appraised, and delivered active mobility, public transport, and urban regeneration projects.
