Ana Gil Solá is an associate professor and senior lecturer in human geography at the University of Gothenburg. Her research addresses social issues related to people’s everyday mobility and accessibility, often in connection with planning. Ana’s work particularly focuses on gender equality, people’s decision-making processes in relation to the use of different transport modes and places, and the everyday consequences of these choices. She also studies planning for socially sustainable transport systems and the increase in remote working. Together with the Gothenburg Region, she coordinates the network Socially Sustainable Transport Planning.
