Carey Curtis, Professor of City Planning and Transport, is a Senior Researcher at University of Gothenburg and an Honorary Professorial Fellow at University of Melbourne. Her research experience spans four decades and has included over 50 projects in both academia and the planning industry. Carey has published extensively in the areas of travel behaviour, transport and land use planning, accessibility planning, institutional barriers to sustainable urban development, and the governance of emerging transport technologies. Carey is Editor in Chief of the Journal Urban Policy and Research and a member on the editorial boards of the Journal of Urban Mobility, the Journal of Transport Land Use and a member of the Board of the World Society of Transport and Land Use Research.
