My doctoral project focuses on the circular economy in public transport. This involves researching how circular economy principles can be implemented to address increasing costs and environmental impacts. A particular focus of my thesis is the role that public procurement can play, and how reuse and standardisation can enhance resource efficiency. For example, can regions reduce their costs by collaborating with other regions or by adopting a common standard for vehicle specifications? I have a background in economics and am a doctoral candidate at Linköping University within the field of production economics.
