Frida Carlvik’s research focuses on railway maintenance and how we acquire knowledge about the condition of railway tracks. The aim of her work is to investigate how open-access remote data can be used to assess the condition of railway infrastructure and thereby support condition-based maintenance, making it more cost-effective and sustainable from a life cycle perspective.
