Rural development strategist

Jessica has served as rural development strategist for the municipality of Norrköping since January 2026. She is a public health scientist and holds a PhD in Ageing and Later Life. Jessica previously worked as a researcher and director of research at VTI, the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (2008–2026). During this period, her research focused on mobility and accessibility, for example among older people, persons with disabilities, and from the perspective of rural contexts and conditions.
