Jessica Göranssons’s doctoral project examines travellers’ preferences and the factors that influence their travel behaviour based on different parameters, such as demographic, socioeconomic, and geographic conditions. The study focuses on short-distance travel and aims to serve as a guide for designing an efficient public transport offering. The doctoral project will also take a socioeconomic perspective, translating travellers’ preferences into monetary valuations.
