Joel Hansson is a researcher at the Department of Technology and Society, Lund University. His research focuses on how public transport can be planned and operated to become more attractive, reliable and resource efficient. His particular interests include travel time and reliability, the planning and evaluation of high-quality public transport such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), and trade-offs between different objectives in public transport planning.
