Johan is a doctoral student at the Department of Computer Science and Media Technology at Malmö University. His research focuses on how context-based information can be used to enhance the travel experience in public transportation. The doctoral project aims to investigate which aspects of a traveler’s context are relevant in a given situation, as well as how contextual data can be identified and processed efficiently and effectively. Finally, the research explores how context awareness can contribute to improving accessibility for passengers with certain disabilities.
