Michelle is a PhD student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), specialising in the personalisation of passenger information systems in public transport. Her research, conducted in collaboration with Stockholm’s public transport operator SL, aims to define how public transport systems can deliver personalised information to travellers.
The focus of her work encompasses a twofold approach: first, to systematically explore and define the concept of personalisation within passenger information systems; and second, to use these insights to support stakeholders in the development and implementation of personalised information systems that enhance the travel experience. This research bridges academic inquiry and practical application, contributing to innovative solutions that improve public transport services in Stockholm and beyond.
