Karin Winter is a planning scholar at Lund University with a focus on social perspectives and transport planning. This includes questions of justice, gender, colonialism, racism, and economic structures in relation to societal transformation. She is engaged in several projects at K2 and a member of the krits-collective.
Karin holds a PhD in planning and decision analysis with a specialization in urban and regional studies from KTH, The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. She typically combines theoretically driven explorations with a broad and granular knowledge of planning and policy making in practice. The latter is the result of over 20 years of experience from the national, regional, and local levels of government in Sweden.
