Evaluation of Pågatåg nordost and Krösatåg

Evaluation of Pågatåg nordost and Krösatåg

Region Skåne, the Swedish Transport Administration and the municipalities in northeastern Skåne financed a new and improved train system in the region. The new stations and train connections were opened in December 2013, replacing several regional bus lines at the same time. This meant that travel times between the cities and the larger cities in Skåne decreased. K2 and Sustainable Mobility Skåne evaluated the effects of the new train connections in terms of traveler behavior, attraction and local economic development.
