Presentation

Kelsey’s research focuses on planning activities connected to the development of so-called “smart mobility”. Her work has followed a collaboration between Stockholm’s Regional Public Transport Authority, Järfälla municipality and the bus operator Nobina in Barkarbystaden in the north-west of Stockholm in order to understand more about the emergence of Mobility as a Service and small automated shuttles as part of this collaboration. After starting this research within two separate K2 projects, she is currently developing her PhD research in the K2 project “New mobilities in the making – an exploration of collaborative arrangements that shape future urban public transport”. Kelsey has a background in anthropology and geography and is now a PhD student at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) MAP unit in Stockholm, and the Department of Urban Planning and Environment at KTH.
